Enamel silkscreen on aluminum, 2000
mural detail

... I have an Uncle in Mazatlan who says you learn patience from watching the sea.
And Patience was just what I needed one day in Winnipeg. But how do you free yourself of expectations? Can you isolate moments of clarity from within the endless repetition of history and experience? (Winnipeg Winters can be long and brutal indeed.)

Print-based installation, 2000

Presented in 2000 at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba in Brandon, MB and in 2006 at the Clarion University Gallery in Clarion, PA.
